We set off for Copalis Beach to dig razor calms with an assortment of lanterns, several clam guns, and a bag full of warm clothes. We made it to the ocean for the 6pm low tide, and dug clams in the dark under a full moon! The boys had a blast. Jack even tasted a little sand, and Lil' Frankie used his favorite wooden spoon to dig like a crazy man. Seven hours, and fifty dollars in gas later, we made it home with 30 good sized clams.
We shared half of our little treasures with our neighbor (a former chef) who LOVES seafood, and made the best clam strips with the rest!
